Three years ago, the Little Rock Municipal Airport Commission set out to change
how air service is delivered to Arkansans. The Commission's plan, known as Vision
2020, is focused on developing a world-class airport through a series of construction initiatives to be completed by year 2020.
The Commission's vision has taken flight with completion of the plan's first phase,
which includes a larger and modernized ticket lobby and state-of-the-art baggage
screening system. You're invited to the special dedication of this major milestone
at Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport.
The Airport Commission will celebrate completion of the $67 million project as well as formally dedicate the airport’s new name as special guests President Bill Clinton and Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton attend. Last year, the Commission voted unanimously to rename Little Rock National Airport in honor of The Clintons for the many contributions they have made through more than three decades of public service.
The dedication, to be held on Friday, May 3rd, will be open to the public. However
due to the airport being in operation, a limited amount of tickets are available. The Ticket Requests have been closed.
The event is scheduled to begin at 11:30am. For more information, please call 501-707-5372 or email
